Orthopedic Surgery
Frature,Accident & Trauma Surgery
Trauma and fractures are defined as a sudden incident causing physical injury or a break in bone. It is a broad term describing all types of injuries affecting the muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, nerves, blood vessels, or bones that most commonly occur during sports, exercise, or any other physical activity. Trauma and fractures may be a result of accidents, poor training practices, insufficient warm up and stretching exercises, or from use of improper gear.
Minimally Invasive Orthopedic Surgery
In minimally invasive surgery, doctors use a variety of techniques to operate with less damage to the body than with open surgery. In general, minimally invasive surgery is associated with less pain, a shorter hospital stay and fewer complications. Surgeries like tendon and ligament repair are done at our center by this procedure.
Arthroscopy Surgery
Orthopaedic surgeons use arthroscopy to view inside joints. The minimally invasive procedure takes place through small incisions. It enables providers to diagnose and treat problems like arthritis, rotator cuff tears, carpal tunnel syndrome and ACL tears. Different types of arthroscopy treat different joint and ligament concerns.
Spine Surgery
The surgery involves an incision on the back of the spine that allows the surgeon to remove bone spurs and thickened ligaments that are pressing on the nerves of the low back. Microdiscectomy is used to treat nerve pain (sciatica) due to a herniated disc impinging a nerve in the spine.
